Enterprise Cloud Architect

Job Description

The Enterprise Cloud Architect would perform their role as an ICON AI Worker Architect who is responsible for maintaining and evolving the core ICON platform infrastructure to support the creation of diverse AI professional embodiments. This role involves closely collaborating with AI Worker Designers to understand their specifications, and then determining how to adapt or enhance the existing ICON Core platform to meet these requirements. The Architect works at the intersection of the platform’s foundational elements and the specific needs of each new AI Worker design.

Qualifications:

1. Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, with a focus on AI systems and software architecture.
2. 8+ years of experience in designing and implementing large-scale, modular AI systems.
3. Deep expertise in AI agent architectures, multi-agent systems, and AI-driven software platforms.
4. Strong background in software architecture, with experience in designing flexible and extensible systems.
5. Proficiency in multiple programming languages and AI development frameworks relevant to agent-based systems.
6. Extensive knowledge of API design, integration patterns, and microservices architecture.
7. Experience with natural language processing and various AI interaction paradigms (voice, text, graphical).
8. Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex Designer specifications into concrete platform enhancements.
9. Excellent communication skills, able to effectively collaborate with Designers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
10. Deep understanding of ethical AI principles and experience implementing responsible AI practices in extensible platforms.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience with cognitive architectures or adaptive AI systems.
2. Background in designing AI platforms that cater to multiple industries or professional domains.
3. Familiarity with federated learning and privacy-preserving AI techniques.
4. Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements for AI systems across different industries.
5. Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) for AI systems.
